It is named for the late president of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Nature lovers will have to take a trip to the Jebel Jais Mountains located in Ras Al-Khaimah, found right at the tip of the north of the city-state. While there, you can try out the world’s longest zipline, which is 9,291 feet long, and allows you to zip at 93 mph! In February 2017, snow fell on Jebel Jais, which was only the third time in the history of the UAE to record snowfall.
