Although Dianne Wiest made her Hollywood debut in the 1970s, she truly came into her own In The 80’s. In fact, during this year she teamed up with hotshot filmmaker Woody Allen to work on five of his movies. These included Hannah and Her Sisters, Bullets Over Broadway, September, The Purple Rose of Cairo, and Radio Days. During this decade, Dianne also kicked off her Sunday shoes to appear alongside Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer in the 1984 movie musical, Footloose.
