You probably didn’t know that actress Joyce Bulifant was initially cast as Mrs. Brady. She played the role of Carol Brady during screen tests. However, as you know, producers decided to go with Florence Henderson. This was in order to have a toned-down Mrs. Brady as opposed to Bulifant’s cheerful character.

Fans of The Brady Bunch would probably remember the iconic line, ‘Marcia, Marcia, Marcia’. The line was in fact inspired by the ongoing feud between the Brady sisters. Although Maureen McCormick and Eve Plumb played as loving sisters, they were not on good terms in real life. The feud started when Eve grew jealous that Maureen’s character was romantically linked with teen superstar Desi Arnaz Jr.
